At Miraqls Marketplace, operated by Krigato India Pvt Ltd., maintaining high standards of product quality, delivery, and professionalism is essential to
ensuring a trustworthy environment for both customers and artisans. While the platform empowers sellers to showcase and sell their original creations, it also expects every seller to adhere to the platform’s
operational guidelines and timelines.
In cases where a seller fails to comply with the platform’s standards or causes inconvenience to customers through negligence, Miraqls reserves the right to impose penalties. These
measures are not punitive in nature but are designed to maintain accountability, encourage reliability, and protect the integrity of the marketplace.
1. Delay in Order Fulfilment
Sellers are expected to dispatch products strictly within the agreed fulfilment timeline mentioned during product listing or order confirmation. Delays affect customer
trust and platform reliability.
If a seller consistently fails to ship products on time without valid reasons or prior communication, Miraqls may impose a monetary penalty or temporary suspension of the
seller’s account. Repeated violations may lead to permanent delisting or termination of seller privileges. Exceptions may be considered only for genuine logistical delays supported by documentary
evidence (e.g., courier issues or natural calamities).
2. Dispatching Mismatched or Incorrect Products
Every seller must ensure that the product shipped matches the exact description, image, and specifications provided on the marketplace. Dispatching mismatched, incorrect,
or misleading products — even once — is treated as a serious breach of trust.
In such cases, the seller shall bear the full cost of return shipping and refund, and an additional penalty may be levied. Repeated instances may result in account
suspension or permanent removal from the platform. Sellers must double-check every order before dispatch to avoid such discrepancies.
3. Improper or Unsafe Packaging
All sellers are required to pack products securely, ensuring they reach the customer in perfect condition. Poor or negligent packing that leads to damage, spillage, breakage, or
deformation of the product during transit will be subject to penalties.
Miraqls expects sellers to use appropriate packaging materials — such as bubble wrap, corrugated boxes, or cushioning — suitable for fragile or handmade items. Any loss or
damage resulting from improper packaging shall be borne entirely by the seller, including refund and reshipment costs.
4. Other Penalty Scenarios
Apart from the above, penalties may also apply under the following circumstances:
- Failure to respond to order queries, customer complaints, or Miraqls’s communication within the stipulated time.
- Misrepresentation of product origin, material, or authenticity — for example, selling machine-made goods as handmade or misusing traditional art form names.
- Use of unauthorized or misleading product images that do not represent the actual product.
- Non-compliance with Miraqls’s policies, including returns, refunds, or quality checks.
- Violation of fair pricing or unethical behaviour, such as inflating prices, manipulating reviews, or encouraging direct off-platform transactions.
5. Enforcement and Review
All penalties are determined after a fair review process. Miraqls will first notify the seller in writing, providing details of the violation and a reasonable opportunity to respond. Based
on the findings, penalties may include warning notices, monetary fines, suspension of pay-out, temporary delisting, or permanent termination from the marketplace.
Miraqls reserves the right to deduct any applicable penalty amount from the seller’s pending pay-outs or future settlements. However, the goal is to ensure continuous improvement
— sellers are encouraged to treat such actions as corrective, not punitive, and to take necessary measures to prevent recurrence.
